Leonela Helm South American born artist has lived in England for the past 9 years which has helped her contrast native political views of Venezuela to her now adopted English culture. Helm's performative work is about politics, however she used her past experiences with the present, using the colour 'red' in a variety of materials and singing/speaking in her native tongue. Encouraging the viewer to understand beyond the proposed image.
